Getting Here
By Train
The nearest station is Hitchin, around a 15-minute walk from the Priory.
Trains run regularly from London (St Pancras, Farringdon & Finsbury Park), Cambridge, and nearby towns.
We recommend checking your return options ahead of time, as evening services may vary.
By Car
Hitchin Priory is easily reached via the A1(M) and surrounding routes linking Luton, Stevenage, and Bedford.
Please note there is no general public parking on-site during concerts.
Guests are encouraged to travel by train, bus, taxi, or car-share where possible. Stewards will be on hand to guide drop-offs and collections close to the entrance.
By Bus & Taxi
Frequent bus services operate from Stevenage, Luton, Welwyn Garden City, Hatfield, Bedford and surrounding towns.
A clearly marked drop-off/pick-up area will be available near the main gates, and local taxis will run throughout the evening.
Entry & Tickets
- Gates will open in the late afternoon — please check your ticket or pre-event email for the confirmed time.
- Have your digital ticket ready for scanning on arrival (printed versions are also accepted).
- Bag checks and security searches will be carried out at the entrance.
- Once inside, re-entry is not permitted — make sure you have everything you need before entering.
The Box Office will open approximately 30 minutes before gates and remain open until around 9 pm.
VIP & Premium Experiences
Take your night to the next level with a VIP Premium ticket, which includes:
- Priority entrance to the concert arena
- Access to an exclusive garden area with relaxed seating
- Premium bar and upgraded restroom facilities
- Picnic tables and shaded space
- A commemorative lanyard or wristband
Please note: VIP access does not include front-row or “golden circle” standing areas unless clearly stated on your ticket type.

Do accessible tickets cost more?
No. Accessible tickets are priced the same as standard general admission tickets.
Can I bring a companion or carer?
If a companion or carer ticket is required, please email custcare@skiddle.com.
The Skiddle team will carry out an eligibility check and, if approved, provide a unique code to access a complimentary carer ticket.
How do I purchase an accessible ticket?

What You Can Bring
To ensure comfort and safety for everyone, please take note of what is and isn’t permitted inside the event:
Allowed
- Small bags (no larger than A4 size)
- Picnic blankets
- Sealed 500 ml bottle of water or empty reusable bottle (for refill)
- Sunscreen, hats and rain ponchos
- Essential medication (with proof if needed)
Not Allowed
- Camping or folding chairs (except within designated accessible areas)
- Large bags or suitcases
- Glass bottles, cans, or outside food and drink
- Umbrellas or parasols
- Drones, fireworks, flares, or smoke bombs
- Professional camera equipment or recording gear
- Illegal or controlled substances (zero tolerance)
All attendees will be subject to security checks on entry.
Food & Drink
There will be a fantastic selection of local street-food vendors and fully licensed bars across the site, offering everything from burgers and tacos to vegan dishes, craft beers and cocktails.
- Outside food and drink are not permitted (except a sealed 500 ml bottle of water).
- Free water refill points will be available – bring a reusable bottle.
- Challenge 25 applies at all bars – please carry valid photo ID.
- The event operates a cashless system, so please use card or contactless payment.
Weather & What to Expect
Concerts at Hitchin Live at The Priory take place outdoors and will go ahead in most weather conditions.
- Please check the forecast before travel and dress appropriately.
- Umbrellas are not allowed inside the arena as they obstruct views.
- Bring suitable footwear for grass and uneven ground.
- In warm weather, stay hydrated and use sun protection.
Facilities on Site
- Toilets: Standard and accessible toilets are located throughout the venue.
- First Aid & Welfare: Trained medical staff and welfare teams are present at all times. Medication storage is available if required.
- Drinking Water: Free refill points around the site.
- Box Office: Located at the main entrance.
Lost Property: Visit Welfare during the event or email lostproperty@hitchinlive.com afterwards.
Age Policy
The concerts are open to all ages, but anyone under 16 must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over.
If you look under 25 and plan to purchase alcohol, please bring valid photo ID.
Safety & Security
Your safety is our priority.
Security checks and bag searches will take place at the gate. Anyone found with illegal or dangerous items will be refused entry and may be reported to the police.
Please cooperate with staff and stewards – they’re there to keep the event safe and enjoyable for everyone.
Guestlist & Ticket Help
Guestlist attendees can collect wristbands from the Box Office by showing photo ID and confirming their registered name.
